Accessibility Statement

Computer Instruments, LLC (“Computer Instruments,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to people with disabilities. We work to provide an inclusive online experience for all visitors, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, and keyboard-only navigation.

This Accessibility Statement applies to our marketing website at www.instruments.com and any related pages (the “Site”). It does not cover Computer Instruments products or platforms deployed by our customers; accessibility of those deployments is governed by the applicable customer agreement and by the customer that configured and deployed the platform.

1. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. WCAG defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

The Site aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. It is currently partially conformant, meaning that most parts of the content meet the standard, but some parts do not yet fully conform.

2. Measures to Support Accessibility

We take the following measures to ensure that the Site remains accessible:

  • Treat accessibility as a requirement during design and development, not an afterthought.
  • Use semantic HTML, descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and a consistent heading structure.
  • Support keyboard navigation throughout the Site, including a “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
  • Provide visible focus indicators on interactive elements and maintain sufficient color contrast for text and UI controls.
  • Label form inputs, buttons, and links with clear, descriptive names.
  • Respect the prefers-reduced-motion user setting by reducing non-essential animation.
  • Review the Site's accessibility whenever we release new pages, features, or content.

3. Assessment Approach

Computer Instruments has assessed the accessibility of the Site using the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation. The Site was reviewed internally against WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria.
  • Automated audit with AI-assisted tooling. We used AI-assisted code review (Claude Code) to audit the Site's markup, interactive patterns, and page structure for accessibility issues, and to help remediate findings.

We have not engaged a third-party accessibility auditor for a formal certification. If a third-party audit is performed in the future, this statement will be updated to reflect its findings.

4. Compatibility

The Site is designed to be compatible with:

  • Recent versions of major desktop and mobile browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
  • Common assistive technologies, including screen readers (such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS), keyboard-only navigation, voice input, and browser zoom up to 200%.

The Site may not function correctly in browsers or assistive technologies that are more than three major versions out of date.

5. Technical Specifications

Accessibility of the Site relies on the following technologies working in combination with the user's browser and any assistive technologies or plug-ins installed on the user's device:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • WAI-ARIA attributes, where used for dynamic or custom interactive elements

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

6. Alternative Formats

If you need information from the Site in an alternative format — for example, large print, accessible PDF, or plain text — contact us using the details in Section 8 and we will do our best to provide the content in a format that works for you, at no cost.

7. Known Limitations

Although we aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the Site, some areas may not yet fully conform. Accessibility is an ongoing effort: we review the Site on a continuous basis and address issues as we identify them. If you encounter an accessibility barrier that is not addressed here, please report it using the contact information below so we can prioritize and resolve it.

8. Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you experience an accessibility barrier, or if you have a question, comment, or suggestion about accessibility, please contact us:

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days.
